Intracranial membranes
Recently I completed the first module in French osteopath, Jean Pierre Barral’s , Neural Manipulation training. It was a very interesting class that integrates precise palpation of certain nerves while simultaneously tuning into the craniosacral rhythm. This work would be very helpful in cases of nerve entrapment, particularly of the sciatic nerve or of the brachial plexus. The class also provided a more mechanistic approach to assessment and treatment of structures in the cranium, like sutures and membranes which I’ve already started incorporating into my craniosacral sessions with good results.
Here’s also a picture of the training I’ve completed which you can find on the IAHP website. As you can see, there’s always more to learn and I look forward to doing it.
